Why Linux Socials ?
Aim is to open-source all interview data and make developers aware about the requirements and profiles that can actually be targeted. And pushing ourselves beyond interviews, to explore real technical depths. With not just a tiny purpose of clearing an interview, but with a goal to actually build tools that grow and contribute to engineering. Such things can only be done, if senior developers guide there upcoming gen. And thus, the best we do, is to bring developers together from Tier-1 Product based companies, gather interview requirements from recent interveiws and bring developers together to guide upcoming engineers with it, alongside hands-on practical learning...
50+ College Collaborations

Not just technical trainings, the belief is in building relations with college faculties, administration, students and even the guards... Deliver deep technical content, organise student talks, events, hackathons and more. With an end goal of making an impact on placements and providing students job support while they are in college and beyond. Something that we did at Lovely Professional University, and have been doing for many years now, with the love that we received.

IIT-Delhi, is not just an special campus, it's the one closest to heart for the kind of technical conversation we had. Discussing beyond coding and data structures... All the technologies that are expected to be implemented in coming years. And everything that is being done currently in industry after the great technical shift that we are witnessing. Discussing and explaining such things to students at college level, and them grasping it so well, gives the confidence that, if any student understands such stuff in early college days, can go great in their career.

BITS-Dubai truly leaves an impression. Literally a fan of the projects and how technically sound students are. Not every batch needs to know the technologies, or the code... Some just need to understand what kind of projects and tools are being built in industry. And once understood, the excitement to start working on such projects, is a look worth seeing. The only reason, some batches become love. And we wish to help them to their placements and beyond that...

Founder Story

At the end of the day, I'm nothing but a Developer, being lucky enough that young generation developers listen to me. And as a part of responsiblity of being a developer, and someone coming from a middle class family, I belive it's a responsiblity now to help and guide others whereever I can. We as India have a long journey ahead of us, in building right mindset for engineering, that thinks beyond 75% attendance, copy-pasting projects and teaching decades old theory stuff... to something that is not only relevant to current industry, but can also motivate our budding developers, to think, and practically build tools, technologies and solutions that take engineering one step ahead. And to form this mindset, LinuxSocials is just one step. If we succeed in doing it, GREAT. But if not, that GREAT TOO... Coz upcoming generations are build on failures and learnings of previos ones. So someone needs to do this... So as someone who worked at Start-ups, Google, Adobe, and got offers from Amazon, JPMC and other such tech-giants... There is only one thing to say... "DREAM BIG... AT TIMES, EVEN WE OURSELVES UNDERMINE OUR WORTH."
